Bio-Essence Bird's Nest Nutri-Collagen & Whitening Products

Bio-Essence
Bird's Nest

This series of products was recommended to me by a Swanston staff when I told her that I am looking for something that helps to reduce pore size. She told me that products that are moisturizing, but not oily will help - Bio-Essence Bird's Nest products.

Nutri-Collagen & Whitening Advancer

 Price : $19.80

This product is used in place of a toner. I will squeeze some on my left palm and apply bit by bit to my face using my right hand. After applying, my skin doesn't feel tight or dry at all (unlike most toners). My skin feels soft and hydrated though it is only the first step after cleansing.

The packaging is attractive but as it is in a tall bottle, with pump, it is difficult to get the last bit of the content out from the bottle. This product is one of my favourites so far.

Nutri-Collagen & Whitening Essence

Price: $23.80

The white cream-like content is light and not oily at all!! After application, skin feels soft and tender.

Nutri-Collagen & Whitening Cream

Price: $23.90

This moisturizer is a non-greasy creamy gel. To me, this is the best product among this series as it doesn't cause pimples. Unlike most moisturizers which make my skin shine immediately and makes my pores more visible after application, this product moisturizes sufficiently yet not too oily for my combination skin.

Overall:  I think this series of products is very suitable for me, thanks to the Swanston staff... After using these three products, my pores doesn't look so obvious. My skin is also more supple and moisturized. Although I did not buy this product because of its whitening ability, I think it does help to brighten up my skin slightly after using it for nearly 2 months. These products might be slightly more expensive than other drugstore brands, but it is definitely worth buying.

GINVERA Green Tea Whitening & Refining Fluid (100ml)

GINVERA Green Tea Whitening & Refining Fluid (100ml)
Ginvera Green Tea Whitening & Refining Fluid is specially formulated to clear the residue in pores left by cleansers.
It refines and contracts enlarged pores while providing intense hydration to the skin.
With regular use, skin becomes finer and fairer.
Price: $6.00

Pros: Cheap, whitens, light green tea scent
Cons: Leaves skin feeling tight at times.

The toner is nicely packed in a green glass bottle and plastic box. It does make my skin feel tight at times, but I thought I should use few bottles before expecting any visible improvement in my pore size.

I bought 4 bottles, and I'm currently using my 3rd bottle. Sadly, I haven't seen any improvent. As for whitening, I think it does hebit.

I think this is worth trying if you are hoping to find a cheap and basic toner. Do not have high hopes on the pore refining ability of this toner.

Olay White Radiance Protective Lotion SPF24 PA++ (75ml)

Olay White Radiance
Protective Lotion SPF24 PA++ (75ml)
It has Cellucent Whitening Active, with Vitamin B3 that penetrates deep down to the sub layers of the epidermal cells to help activate cells natural radiance.
Price: $19.90

Pros: Nice scent, not too thick, brightens skin
Cons: Causes shine, bottle design

I bought this product as it is not in the form of cream, which I thought might suit my skin better. I was hoping to get a translucent and well hydrated skin. Well it did make my skin look brighter. It also has a very light and nice fragrance. After applying, my skin looks glowier and healthier.

However it caused my skin to get shiny and oily, hence, blotting is necessary within 3 to 4 hours.

It has a very nice and attractive packaging. The bottle can be opened but the bottle is tall, and  openning of the bottle is small. This makes it difficult to get the last portion ofthe bottle.

I feel that this product might be more suitable for those with less oily skin, and those who want to have a whitened and brighter skin. If your skin is more towards oily skin, I suggest avoiding it, unless, you do not mind blotting frequently.
